The EP2316-0008 EtherCAT Box combines eight digital inputs (upper socket connector) and eight digital outputs (lower socket connector) in a single device. The inputs have a filter of 10 µs. The outputs process load currents up to 0.5 A and are short-circuit-proof and protected against reverse polarity. The signal status is displayed via the optional plug connector. The signal connection is made via spring-cage connectors, optionally available in 1- and 3-pole versions. The module is delivered without connectors.
The supply of the connected sensors is done by an internal, short-circuit proof driver module with a total of 0.5 A for all sensors. The outputs are supplied via flush mounted. All outputs are short-circuit-proof and protected against reverse polarity. The 16-channel design offers a very high channel density in a very small space.

The EP2338-0001 EtherCAT Box has eight digital channels that can each be operated as inputs or outputs. It is not necessary to configure whether a channel (pin 4 of the M8) is to be used as input or output; the input circuit is permanently connected internally to the output driver, so that a set output is automatically displayed in the input process image.
The inputs have a filter of 10 µs. The outputs handle load currents up to 0.5 A and are short-circuit-proof and protected against reverse polarity. The total current of all outputs is limited to 4 A.
The connected sensors are supplied by an internal, short-circuit-proof driver module with a total of 0.5 A for all sensors. The inputs and outputs are supplied via UP. The signal status is indicated by LEDs. The signals are connected via M8 connectors.

The EP7041-3002 EtherCAT Box is intended for the direct connection of different stepper motors. The PWM output stages for two motor coils cover a wide voltage and current range. The EP7041-3002 can be adjusted to the motor and the application by changing just a few parameters. 256-fold micro-stepping ensures particularly quiet and precise motor operation. Connection of an incremental encoder enables a simple servo axis to be realized. Two digital inputs and a digital 0.5 A output enable connection of end switches and a motor brake.
The hardware- and software-based configuration make the stepper motor module particularly suitable for applications that are subject to unsteady motor operation due to natural resonance of the motor and the moved mass.

The EP7211-0034 servomotor EtherCAT Box with integrated One Cable Technology (OCT) offers high servo performance in a very compact design for AM8100 series motors with up to 4.5 A (Irms). The One Cable Technology combines motor cable and absolute feedback system in a single cable. The integrated electronic identification plate of the AM81xx motors can be read in automatically by the servo box to configure the motor parameters. In this way, wiring and commissioning requirements are simplified.
The high-performance control technology supports fast and highly dynamic positioning tasks, while numerous monitoring functions offer maximum operational reliability. EtherCAT as a high-performance system communication enables ideal interfacing with PC-based control technology. LEDs indicate status, warning and error messages as well as possibly active limitations. Two integrated digital inputs enable the connection of limit switches.
